Federal probe finds problems with chelation study

People in the study were not told enough about the potential dangers of the treatment called chelation (“kee-LAY’shun”) according to a report from the U. ffice for Human Research Protections. The report says some doctors involved in the study have been disciplined by state medical boards and at least three are convicted felons.

BECKWITH was sentenced to four years eight months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release ordered to pay $1035144 in restitution and perform 50 hours of community service. BECKWITH pleaded guilty to the charge on April 7 2009. located at 4450 Hugh Howell Road in Tucker Georgia. None of the patients were diagnosed with medical conditions that made them eligible to receive payments from health care benefit programs. BECKWITH submitted $1577827 in claims to insurance companies and Medicare which included false diagnosis codes that enabled her to fraudulently receive $1035144 in payments for the hyperbaric chamber treatments.

Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine can help seizures

The dog has had no seizures for eight months and is doing extremely well. The dog is still on a Chinese herbal formula but at a reduced dose and if doses are missed there are no adverse problems.
